Mission Increase Northeast Ohio

In 2016 a small group of IHS Foundation fundholders learned about an unusual organization that was popping up in locations around the country, offering substantial resources to ministries at no cost to the ministries themselves.

Mission Increase exists “to teach, coach, consult, and equip ministries with the tools and training they need to more fully achieve their God-given mission.”

Many of our fundholders support ministries with grants from their Donor Advised Fund. Think of this as giving these important organizations fish to eat in support of their immediate, important work.

IHS Foundation—along with some of our fundholders—also chooses to support ministries by supporting Mission Increase. Think of this as teaching these important organizations to fish more effectively in support of their long-term sustainability.

Gifts of fish and fishing poles are both valuable ways to support the work God is doing in our community.
